Training Workshops

Diana Hulse and Peter McDermott led a workshop for nine police personnel supervisors at the Enfield, Connecticut Police Department on the topics of active listening and responding skills, preplanning for feedback in police supervision, and facilitating leadership tasks.

 


    

Diana Hulse and Peter McDermott, along with faculty, alumni, and current students in the school counseling and clinical mental health counseling programs at Fairfield University provided to seven police officers and sergeants from Connecticut a pilot training in interpersonal skills. In six 3-hour sessions police learned, practiced, and mastered core interpersonal skill competencies.

Train the Trainers

We offer workshops to teach trainers how to use this material and apply it to their workspace. We have several training designs including 2 hr, 4 hr, 6 hr, and week long trainings.
